The enclosure is used in automotive and other applications that require an outward formed external flange trough collar to keep out liquids and contaminants. It features a 16 gauge steel body and a door available in either 16 or 14 gauge steel, with a return flange design that diverts liquid contaminants away from the enclosure door opening. The continuous hinge and bonding provision on the door enhance durability, while the heavy-duty, tool-to-open, plated latches provide secure closure. Additionally, it includes an oil-resistant gasket, external wall-mounting brackets, and weldnuts for mounting optional panels and terminal block kits. The kit and package include all necessary components for installation and usage.
