The Hoffman E6PBX is an extra deep push button enclosure designed to accommodate 30.5mm and 22.5mm pushbuttons and switches, providing additional depth for extra pushbutton contact blocks. It is constructed from 16 or 14 gauge steel, with seams that are continuously welded and ground smooth for durability. The enclosure features captivated cover screws that thread into sealed wells, a grounding nut in the body, and a bonding provision on the cover. Additionally, it includes an oil-resistant gasket and factory stamped 4-way pushbutton holes. For added convenience, enclosures measuring 6.00 x 4.00 x 4.75 in. (152 x 102 x 121 mm) and larger come with an internal detachable hinge to hold the cover open during wiring while allowing for immediate removal. The unit also includes external wall-mounting brackets for easy installation.
