The Hoffman A1008NF J Box is a Type 4 enclosure measuring 10.00 x 8.00 x 4.00 inches and constructed from gray steel. This enclosure features clamps on all four sides to securely close the unit, ensuring protection for components in both indoor and outdoor applications, while still allowing for easy removal for access and modifications. It includes options of 16 or 14 gauge steel, with seams that are continuously welded and ground smooth. The unit is equipped with stainless steel clamps on all sides of the cover, a bonding provision on the cover, and an oil-resistant gasket. It also features weldnuts for mounting optional panels and terminal block kits sized 6.00 x 4.00 inches (152 x 102 mm) and larger, along with external wall-mounting brackets.
