The Jet® SSC Series Electric Chain Hoist, rated for 2 tons with a 20 ft. lift and operating on 230V/460V, is designed for commercial and industrial applications, prioritizing safety and durability. Each hoist features a slip clutch overload protection mechanism that prevents the lifting of loads exceeding its rated capacity, and is available in both single and three-phase configurations to meet electrical requirements. Single-phase models include a thermal overload protection design to prevent overheating, while three-phase models utilize a reverse phase relay to safeguard against incorrect wiring. An industry-proven DC electromagnetic brake ensures safety by holding the load in the event of a power interruption. The hoist also incorporates a maintenance-free, sealed oil bath gear train for enhanced reliability. Available capacities range from 1/2 ton to 5 tons, with standard lift options of 10, 15, and 20 feet, and custom lifts can be requested. Safety features include limit switches to prevent over-traveling of the load chain, and the hoist utilizes a Grade 80 black oxide coated load chain for increased durability. The control pendant operates at 24 volts and features push buttons for ease of use.
