The Bosch® BL2759 aircraft drill bits are designed with an extra length and a diameter of 1/2 inch, featuring a speed helix design that facilitates drilling three times faster than standard bits while lasting 50% longer than high-speed steel. These drill bits provide easier drilling with reduced heat generation, ultimately extending the drill bit's lifespan. They are available in various lengths, including jobber length, stubby length, and extended length (aircraft), and feature a 1/2 inch reduced shank (Silver and Deming). The drill bits are suitable for use in a wide range of materials, including steel, copper, aluminum, brass, oak, maple, MDF, pine, PVC, polycarbonate, acrylic, ABS, nylon, and composite materials.
