The Bosch® BL2636 drill bits are designed for enhanced performance with an extra length and a 9/64" diameter, featuring a 9/64" shank diameter and a black oxide finish. These drill bits incorporate a speed helix design that allows for three times faster drilling compared to standard bits, while also lasting 50% longer than conventional high-speed steel. The innovative design contributes to easier drilling with reduced heat generation, resulting in an extended drill bit life. The available configurations include jobber length, stubby length, extended length (aircraft), and a 1/2 in. reduced shank (Silver and Deming), making them suitable for a wide range of materials including steel, copper, aluminum, brass, oak, maple, MDF, pine, PVC, polycarbonate, acrylic, ABS, nylon, and composite materials.
