The Oatey 31262 Great Blue Pipe Joint Compound is an 8 oz. flexible, non-hardening, non-separating, and non-toxic paste that is odorless and easy to clean up. It is designed for use on PVC, CPVC, ABS, polyethylene, polypropylene, iron, steel, copper, or brass threads up to and including 2 inches. This compound withstands up to 3,000 PSI on gases from -50° to +400° F and 10,000 PSI on liquids from -50° to +500° F. It effectively lubricates and seals threads on water, natural gas, steam, air lines, caustics, and dilute acids. The product is compliant with relevant certifications, ensuring it meets industry standards.
