Oatey 32164 PVC Blue Lava Hot Cement is a 1 Gallon medium-bodied blue cement designed for use on all schedules and classes of PVC pipe and fittings up to 6" diameter with interference fit. This Lo-V.O.C. solvent cement complies with California South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) 1168/316AOR BAAQMD Method 40 and meets various environmental requirements. It is a very fast-setting "hot" cement formulated specifically for wet conditions, allowing for quick pressurization and fast installation. The product is recommended for potable water, sewer, and DWV applications, with an application temperature range of 40°F to 110°F / 4°C to 43°C. No primer is needed for non-pressure DWV applications where local codes permit. It also meets ASTM D2564 certification.
