Oatey 30891 PVC Rain-R-Shine Blue Cement is a medium-bodied blue cement designed for use on all schedules and classes of PVC pipe and fittings up to 6" in diameter with an interference fit. This low-V.O.C. solvent cement complies with California South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) 1168/316A and BAAQMD Method 40, adhering to various environmental requirements. It is formulated as a very fast-setting "hot" cement, ideal for wet conditions and quick pressurization, making it suitable for applications such as pool, irrigation, potable water, pressure pipe, conduit, and DWV. The recommended application temperature ranges from 40°F to 110°F (4°C to 43°C), and no primer is needed on non-pressure DWV up to 6" in diameter when local codes allow. This product meets ASTM D-2564 standards. The package includes an 8 oz. container of the cement. Warranty information is provided by the manufacturer.
