Oatey 31918 All Weather 1-Step FlowGuard Gold with Ultraviolet Indicator is a 16 oz. solvent cement designed for copper tube size (CTS) CPVC hot and cold potable water pipe and fittings with a diameter of up to 2 inches, suitable for interference fit. This low-V.O.C. solvent cement complies with California South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) 1168/316A and BAAQMD Method 40, as well as various environmental standards. It is suitable for use in cold water systems and hot water systems with a temperature rating of up to 200 °F (93 °C). The CPVC FlowGuard Gold formulation includes an ultraviolet indicator, allowing for quick inspection of dry fit joints, which will glow blue under ultraviolet light when applied correctly. This product may be used without primer where local codes permit, with a recommended application temperature range of 0 °F to 115 °F (-17 °C to 46 °C). Oatey 31918 meets ASTM F493 standards.
