The product is a purple-tinted aggressive primer designed for use on PVC and CPVC pipe and fittings. It features low volatile organic compounds (Lo-V.O.C.) solvent cement that complies with California South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) 1168/316A and BAAQMD Method 40, as well as various environmental requirements. This primer is less aggressive than clear and purple primers, effectively removing surface dirt, grease, and grime to prepare the surfaces for solvent cementing.
