Oatey 31265 Great Blue Pipe Joint Compound is a 1 oz. flexible blue, non-hardening, non-separating, and non-toxic paste that has no odor and allows for easy clean-up. It is suitable for use on PVC, CPVC, ABS, polyethylene, polypropylene, iron, steel, copper, or brass threads up to and including 2 inches. This compound can withstand pressures of up to 3,000 psi on gases within a temperature range of -50° to +400° F and up to 10,000 psi on liquids from -50° to +500° F. It effectively lubricates and seals threads on water, natural gas, steam, air lines, caustics, and dilute acids.
