The Hoffman LSC252015EMC Inline™ screw cover EMC enclosure is designed for Type 1 applications and accommodates LP2520/LP2520G panel/cond panel configurations. It is constructed from 16 gauge (1.4-mm) steel with seams that are continuously welded and ground smooth, featuring an external formed body flange and a large perimeter body opening. The enclosure includes fastening holes in the back for direct mounting or use with optional external mounting brackets, a bonding provision (M6) on the cover, and a grounding stud (M6) on the body. It is covered with metalized non-woven fabric EMI/RFI material and incorporates a UL94HP-rated urethane foam gasket. The interior surfaces are plated for gasket contact areas and conduit entries. The furnished hardware kit contains panel mounting screws, grounding hardware, and sealing washers for wall-mounting holes, along with installation instructions. The shielding effectiveness exceeds 50 dB at 1 GHz. Additionally, the Inline EMC screw-cover enclosures feature captivated cover screws with sealing bushings and integral gasket compression stops, while the hinged-door enclosures allow for a 180-degree door opening, a removable solid door with two barrel hinges, and a self-grounding quarter-turn latch. The overall dimensions and specifications are in accordance with standard compliance requirements for EMC enclosures, ensuring reliable performance and protection.
