The tool is designed to grind, deburr, blend, and polish on various materials such as metal, plastic, fiberglass, composites, rubber, and glass. It allows grinding from either the contact wheel or platen pad, while finishing and polishing can be achieved using the slack of the belt. The kit includes a 11206 contact arm suitable for 3/4" wide x 18" long abrasive belts. Its lightweight and ergonomic design features a 7-degree offset for comfortable use, and the grinding head can pivot 360 degrees, enabling it to be secured in the most efficient position. Additionally, the belt guard detaches easily for quick abrasive changes, and a simple belt tracking adjustment knob is provided for convenience.
