The Hoffman A24H2008SSLP3PT is a continuous hinge enclosure with a 3-point latch, classified as type 4X, and with dimensions of 24.00 x 20.00 x 8.00 inches, made from stainless steel type 304. This two-door enclosure is designed to offer superior protection for systems with large components or complex mounting configurations in highly corrosive environments, making it ideal for applications in food processing plants, pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities, petrochemical plants, pulp and paper processing, and water treatment facilities. It features a robust construction with 12 gauge type 304 or 316L stainless steel, with seams that are continuously welded and ground smooth, ensuring no holes or knockouts. The backs are made from 10 or 12 gauge stainless steel and equipped with X-form stiffeners. The enclosure includes a removable center post for easy panel installation, panel supports, and heavy-duty lifting eyes made from type 316 stainless steel. Stainless steel screws and clamps on three sides of each door ensure a watertight seal, while a rolled lip around three sides of the door and along the top of the opening prevent the ingress of liquids and contaminants. An integrated heavy-gauge stainless steel continuous hinge, a data pocket made of high-impact thermoplastic, and welded 12-inch (305-mm) floor stands enhance its functionality. It also features a hasp and staple for padlocking, a seamless foam-in-place gasket for an oil-tight and dust-tight seal against contaminants, collar studs for mounting optional panels, and external hardware made from type 316 stainless steel. Additionally, it comes with bonding provisions on the doors, grounding studs on the body, and an accessory mounting channel provided in the enclosure top, along with type 316L stainless steel lifting eyes.
