The Hoffman E2PBSS is a PB enclosure designed for efficient and economical protection of electrical and electronic equipment. This stainless steel Type 304, free-standing disconnect enclosure is classified as Type 1, making it suitable for applications that do not require extensive environmental protection. The kit includes a durable 14 gauge steel body and door, 12 gauge back covers, and a 4-inch high 10 gauge steel integral lifting base. The enclosure offers a modified preferred disconnect cutout and has usable heights ranging from 60 inches to 84 inches, which is 4 inches less than the nominal height. It features sturdy 7 gauge lifting tabs, flush doors, and a 3-point latch mechanism equipped with a heavy-duty handle that includes a screwdriver defeater and padlock provision. Additionally, predrilled holes in the lifting base facilitate bolt-down capability, and there is a bonding provision on each door. For versatility, studs are included for mounting optional panels on threaded bolts, and optional rack angles can be mounted to the top and bottom of the front flanges.
