The Hoffman A36H3612SSLP is a continuous hinge enclosure designed for applications requiring mounting electrical components across the full width of the enclosure. This type 4X enclosure measures 36.00 x 36.00 x 12.00 inches and is constructed from 14 gauge type 304 stainless steel, with 16 gauge type 304 stainless steel door seams that are continuously welded and ground smooth. Key features include an external formed body flange trough, a large perimeter body opening, and spot-welded mounting brackets at the top and bottom of the enclosure, which come with predrilled mounting holes for added flexibility. The seamless foam-in-place gasket ensures a secure seal, while a furnished hardware kit includes panel mounting screws and grounding hardware. The hinged door is equipped with removable hinge pins and a self-grounding quarter-turn latch system featuring a double seal, allowing the door to open 180 degrees. For models with window doors, a 3/16-inch (4.8-mm) clear polycarbonate window is mounted flush with the door surface.
