The Hoffman A24H2408SS6LP3PT is a continuous hinge enclosure with a 3-point latch, classified as type 4X, and measuring 24.00 x 24.00 x 8.00 inches. Constructed from stainless steel type 316L, this two-door enclosure is specifically designed to protect electronic controls and components from non-corrosive or mildly corrosive elements, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor settings. Typical applications include food and beverage, packaging, water, petroleum, and chemical processing industries. The enclosure features 14-gauge doors and a 12-gauge body made from type 304 stainless steel, with seams that are continuously welded and ground smooth. It includes a flange trough collar on all four sides of the door openings and a seamless foam-in-place one-piece gasket that offers a water-, oil-, and dust-tight seal against contaminants. Black die-cast quarter-turn latches are provided on three sides of each door, while concealed hinges allow for a 180-degree door opening and facilitate easy door removal and cleaning of the hinge area. The enclosure is equipped with bolt-on 12-inch-high stainless steel floor stands, heavy-duty type 316L stainless steel lifting eyes, and collar studs on the inside of the enclosure back for mounting optional panels.
