The Hoffman A60H3612SSLP3PT is a robust continuous hinge enclosure featuring a 3-point latch, crafted from 12 gauge type 304 stainless steel and designed for use in environments requiring protection from dust, dirt, oil, and water. With dimensions of 60.00 x 36.00 x 12.00 inches, it is suitable for housing systems that incorporate large components or complex mounting configurations, such as motor starters, drives, contactors, and PLCs. The enclosure includes continuously welded and ground smooth seams with no holes or knockouts, and stiffeners welded to the back to maintain flatness and increase rigidity. Heavy-duty lifting eyes are constructed from type 316 stainless steel, while the plated steel 3-point latching system features a keylocking handle and latch rods equipped with rollers for easier door closing. Heavy-gauge continuous hinges support each door, and a data pocket made of high-impact thermoplastic is provided on the door(s) with 3-point latches. Additionally, horizontal mounting channels are welded to the interior body sides at the top, bottom, and center, allowing for optional panels and rack-mounting angles to be positioned anywhere along the channels. An oil-resistant door gasket is attached with oil-resistant adhesive and secured with steel retaining strips, and there are bonding provisions on the door, along with grounding studs on the body. Accessory mounting channels are also provided in the enclosure top.
