The Concept™ enclosures are designed for both indoor and outdoor applications that necessitate a sloped top and corrosion protection from chemicals and water. These enclosures are constructed from 16 and 14 gauge Type 304 stainless steel, featuring a 20-degree sloped top that prevents liquid pooling and debris accumulation. Their minimum-width body flange allows for a maximum body opening, complemented by an external formed 90-degree body flange. The enclosures include panel mounting studs compatible with optional Concept panels and various accessories, as well as mounting holes in the back for direct or optional external mounting. The Type 304 stainless steel hidden hinges enhance the aesthetic appeal, with two hinges on models under 36 inches in height and three on taller models. The corner-formed doors are interchangeable and easily removable through clip-style hinge pins, and they come with provisions for a thermoplastic data pocket and an optional door stop kit. All seams are continuously welded and ground smooth, while stainless steel quarter-turn latches are equipped with a flush slotted insert. A seamless foam-in-place gasket and a self-grounding latch system with a double seal guarantee maximum protection. Additionally, there is a bonding provision on the door and a grounding stud on the body. The furnished hardware kit includes panel-mounting nuts, panel-grounding hardware, and sealing washers for wall-mounting holes, along with installation instructions.
