These two-door enclosures are designed to provide industry-leading protection for large components or complex mounting configurations in highly-corrosive environments, making them ideal for applications in petrochemical plants, pulp and paper processing, water treatment facilities, and food, pharmaceutical, and packaging sectors. The enclosures are constructed from 12 gauge type 304 or 316L stainless steel, with backs made of 10 or 12 gauge stainless steel reinforced with X-form stiffeners. The seams are continuously welded and ground smooth, with no holes or knockouts. Features include a removable center post for easy panel installation, collar studs for mounting optional panels, included panel supports, and heavy-duty lifting eyes crafted from type 316L stainless steel. The heavy-duty 3-point latching mechanism is operated by type 316L stainless steel PowerGlide padlocking handles, while the body flange trough collar effectively excludes liquids and contaminants. Each door is supported by heavy-duty stainless steel continuous hinges, and bonding provisions on doors along with grounding studs on the body enhance safety. An accessory mounting channel is provided in the enclosure top, and a high-impact thermoplastic data pocket is included. The enclosure comes with 12-in. (305-mm) removable floor stands that are bolted to the structure, and a seamless foam-in-place one-piece gasket ensures an oil-tight and dust-tight seal against contaminants. All external hardware is made from type 316 stainless steel.
