The enclosure is designed for use in indoor and outdoor corrosive environments requiring a water-tight seal, featuring a seamless foam-in-place gasket and screw-down clamps for secure sealing against contaminants. Constructed from 14 gauge type 304 or type 316L stainless steel, the bodies and doors have continuously welded seams that are ground smooth, along with a rolled lip around three sides of the door. The stainless steel door clamp assembly includes a hasp and staple for padlocking, and the door can be easily removed by pulling the stainless steel continuous hinge pin. It also features a high-impact thermoplastic data pocket and collar studs for mounting optional panels. The exterior hardware on type 316L stainless steel enclosures matches the enclosure material, with a bonding provision on the door and a grounding stud on the body for compliance with electrical safety standards.
