The Hoffman LHC353020SS Inline™ Instrument Box features a hinged cover and is rated Type 4X, with dimensions of 331mm x 281mm and constructed from SS Type 304. This enclosure, part of the QLine™ series, is the largest size available and is designed to provide easy access while protecting larger controls from corrosive environments. It offers a variety of options including screw cover, hinge, internal mounting, variable depth, and quick-release latch configurations to meet diverse design and security requirements. The ABS series serves as a more economical, non-UL rated alternative, while the screw cover enclosures are equipped with easy-to-remove covers secured with durable polyamide cross-point cover screws. Enclosures with quick-release latches use polycarbonate hinges and polyester latches featuring a padlock provision. Key features include a body made from impact-resistant polycarbonate for the PCI series and ABS for the ABI series, with both opaque and clear covers available in impact-resistant polycarbonate for PCI and opaque covers in ABS for the ABI series. The materials are easily punchable, drillable, fileable, and sawable, with molded mounting holes located directly under the cover screws, as well as molded internal pads and rails for optional panels, rails, and components. The cover includes a molded-in hole for wire leads, and seamless foam-in-place gaskets ensure a water-tight and dust-tight seal, with the material being halogen-free.
