The stove board is designed to protect floors from the intense heat, hot coals, ashes, and soot produced by wood stoves, as well as under other heating appliances such as kerosene, gas, and electric heaters. This product also serves as a hearth extender to safeguard your floor in front of a fireplace and is C US listed for use as a wall shield to protect walls from heat, with the caveat that non-UL stove boards may not be used as wall shields. It has been tested to UL1618 Type 2 standards and comes with a 90-day warranty against manufacturing defects, which excludes all painted finishes such as color variations, fading, scratches, or discoloration, as well as minor dents or imperfections; this warranty applies only to products that are installed properly and used according to their intended purpose.
