The stove board is designed to protect floors from the intense heat, hot coals, ashes, and soot produced by wood stoves, and can also be utilized under other heating appliances such as kerosene, gas, and electric heaters. It serves as a hearth extender to safeguard the floor in front of a fireplace. Notably, C US listed stove boards can be employed as a wall shield to protect walls from heat, while non-UL stove boards are not suitable for this purpose. The product has been tested to UL1618 type 2 standards. It comes with a 90-day warranty for manufacturing defects, excluding all painted finishes (such as color variations, fading, scratches, or discoloration) as well as minor dents or imperfections, provided it is installed properly and used according to the intended use.
