Tripp Lite's Smartrack 12U mid-depth rack enclosure cabinet is engineered for efficient rack equipment installations and maintenance, accommodating all standard 19-inch rack equipment. The cabinet includes front and rear pairs of vertical rails with square mounting holes, adjustable in quarter-inch increments, suited for equipment depths ranging from 3 to 32.5 inches, and capable of supporting up to 1,000 lbs of equipment. It features ports for cable routing and vents for effective thermal management by allowing warm air to escape and drawing in cool air via convection. The enclosure also supports the installation of standard user-supplied case fans (Tripp Lite SRFANWM). Security is enhanced with locking reversible front/rear doors and removable side panels. To facilitate mobility, the cabinet includes an accessory caster kit and can be secured in place with adjustable levelers. The unit is shipped fully assembled, and it meets all enclosure requirements for PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) compliance, measuring 33 inches in depth and offering 12U of rack space.
