The SR42UBSD is a shallow depth cabinet designed for audio/video equipment, making it suitable for smaller installs or areas with limited floor space. It accommodates up to 3000 lb of standard 19-inch rack equipment across 42U of vertical space. The adjustable front and rear vertical rails feature square mounting holes that can be modified in quarter-inch increments from 4 to 27 inches. Each rack space is numbered for easy reference, and two of the adjustable rails support tool-less button-mount 0U installation for up to four compatible PDUs and cable managers, facilitating cable management and reducing clutter. Security is enhanced with locking, reversible, removable front and rear doors, as well as locking, removable half-size side panels for ease of use. The design includes a split rear door to allow for closer placement against walls, while the top panel is vented to promote airflow and includes cable routing ports that can be removed quickly without tools. The open-bottom design further aids in cable access, and the enclosure features extensive front-to-rear ventilation capacity that meets or exceeds server manufacturer requirements. Integrated baying tabs allow for the combination of multiple enclosures in rows, and it is compatible with hot-aisle/cold-aisle configurations. All components are grounded to the frame with threaded grounding points for connection to the facility earth ground, and quick-release ground wires are included on the removable doors. The SR42UBSD meets all requirements for PCI DSS compliance and is designed for simplified deployment.
