The USA-19HS Keyspan® High-Speed USB-to-Serial Adapter enables the connection of a serial device to a computer or laptop featuring a USB Type-A port. It is highly recommended by serial device manufacturers and is designed to connect to devices such as switches, routers, barcode scanners, GPS units, point-of-sale devices, lab equipment, and network storage devices equipped with a 9-pin serial port. The adapter comes with a 3-foot detachable cable that facilitates data transfer speeds up to 230 kbps, which is twice as fast as traditional built-in serial ports, and it is compatible with any USB cable up to 16 feet. An LED indicator displays data activity, while the device requires no external power supply and weighs only 2 ounces, making it easy to transport in a laptop bag or backpack. The USA-19HS is compatible with Windows (up to 10) and Mac OS X (up to and including 10.14), including support for Apple sandbox applications. Additionally, it includes Windows Line Monitor and Data Trace software, and can be easily upgraded with free software downloads.
