The B140-002 transmits a DVI-D single-link signal to two monitors up to 200 ft. away using a single Cat5e/6 patch cable. For maximum distance and resolution, it is recommended to use 24AWG solid wire Cat5e/6 cable (Tripp Lite's N202-series). This device is compatible with all operating systems and offers plug and play functionality with no software or drivers required. It includes mounting hardware for wall, rack, or pole mounting, ensuring simple installation. Connection is made by attaching the B140-002 transmitter to a DVI source with a Tripp Lite P561-series DVI cable (not included), and each display is connected to a Tripp Lite B140-series receiver (not included) using the same type of DVI cable. Each remote receiver connects to an RJ45 port on the B140-002 using a single Cat5e/6 cable. For extended distances, a B140-1A0 or B140-1A0-WP active receiver unit can extend a 1920 x 1080 @ 60Hz signal up to 150 ft., or a 1024 x 768 @ 60Hz signal up to 200 ft. Shorter extension distances can be achieved with a B140-1P0 or B140-1P0-WP passive receiver unit, allowing for 1920 x 1080 @ 60Hz signals to be extended up to 50 ft., or 1024 x 768 @ 60Hz signals up to 100 ft. The range and number of monitors can be further expanded by using a B140-110 repeater unit, enabling the addition of up to four remote units (three repeaters and one active receiver) to each channel of the B140-002, resulting in a maximum of four displays per channel. A 1920 x 1080 @ 60Hz signal can be extended up to 125 ft. from each repeater to the next unit in the channel, or a 1024 x 768 @ 60Hz signal can be extended up to 175 ft.
