The Desk Mate is designed for discreet mounting under a desk or shelf, providing quick access to a single firearm or other valuables. It features an easily programmable five push button mechanical lock that does not require batteries. Included with the Desk Mate is a felt lined tray for organizing and accessing smaller valuables, while the bottom inside of the unit is also felt lined to protect your items. The case has a durable black powder coated finish, complemented by a V-Line gold logo on the dropdown drawer. The kit comes standard with a quick release mounting bracket (part no. 2597-MB BLK) that secures the case to the underside of most desks or shelves, ensuring security and ease of portability. Additionally, anti-pry brackets within the Desk Mate enhance security against prying attempts.
