The Electro Kinetic Technologies EZ-Shopper 8000 electric shopping cart provides safe transport for mobility-impaired individuals during their shopping experience. The cart boasts an impressive total capacity of 1,000 pounds and features a high-impact grey plastic shroud along with a heavy-duty 1-1/4" powder-coated steel welded black frame. It includes a keyless power on/off function, swing-up armrests, an extra small items tray, and deep cycle AGM rechargeable batteries. The on-board battery charger is UL and CUL listed for 120/240 VAC. The cart is equipped with a vinyl washable seat and solid, maintenance-free, non-marking tires. Riders can control the speed from 0 to 2.5 miles per hour when moving forward and from 0 to 1.5 miles per hour in reverse. Safety features consist of an emergency stop switch, automatic parking brake, reverse warning tone and horn, and a safety seat switch that ensures the rider is seated before operating. Additionally, the battery charger includes an inhibit feature to prevent operation during charging. The cart has a turning radius of 34", and the basket provides a volume of 6,600 cubic inches with a capacity of 250 pounds.
