The NERP series of electric chain hoists from Harrington have been engineered with advanced technology and feature a push/pull trolley, resulting in high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists capable of delivering reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. Additionally, the hoists are equipped with a five-pocket load sheave that minimizes vibration and prolongs chain life, a cooler motor and brake facilitated by a fan-cooled motor, low-profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. Compliant with UL 1340 standards, these hoists are environmentally friendly and meet RoHS requirements, exceeding the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate confirming that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
