The NERP Dual Speed Series of electric chain hoists from Harrington includes a push/pull trolley with an under-the-cover variable frequency drive, offering impressive load control and field-adjustable two speeds with a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Key features consist of "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which utilizes a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive that allows for speed adjustability along with integral counting hour functionality to record and display the number of lowering starts and hoist operational time. The design incorporates a 5-pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and prolong chain life, while the fan-cooled motor contributes to cooler motor and brake performance. Additional attributes include low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to be environmentally friendly in compliance with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is supplied with a test certificate confirming it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
