The Protekt™ Serenity Gel Overlay 4200B measures 42" x 78" x 4" and is designed to provide an optimal overlay surface for the prevention and treatment of pressure ulcers. It features a convoluted high density polyurethane foam top layer and bladders filled with an aqueous gel composition that allows for deep submersion. The base foundation consists of high density, high resilient foam construction, ensuring that users do not experience "bottoming out." The cover is made from a soft nylon urethane-coated vapor permeable waterproof fabric, with a top cover that is non-shear, low-friction, and anti-microbial/bacterial. The overlay is secured to the mattress with 4 elastic corner straps, while the gel maintains a consistent room temperature. It accommodates a weight capacity of 300 lbs and is compliant with 16 CFR parts 1632 & 1633. The warranty is one year non-prorated.
