The Seat Belt Sensors are designed to enhance patient safety by allowing staff to respond promptly to active patients attempting to leave their chairs, alerting them before the patient gets up and reminding the patient to remain seated. The Buckle Seatbelt is an easy-to-release device that securely holds the patient in place, sounding an alarm as soon as the fastening buckle is disengaged, providing an extra margin of safety for active wheelchair patients. The alarms can be attached to the back of the wheelchair and are compatible with most other chairs. The device features an extra small lift suitable for tight spaces, supports a 400-pound capacity with manual emergency lowering, and includes six sling hooks for multiple sling options, allowing for a wider range of transfers. The battery, rated at 24 volts, has a lifespan that is twice as long as competing options, reducing downtime. Additionally, it features an ergonomically designed foot pedal base opening for ease of use, clip-free sling hookups for improved safety, full parts breakdowns, and a modular design on both the lift and electronics. Advanced electronics are included, with auxiliary up/down lift controls for enhanced functionality.
