The JET JTM-1050 is designed with Meehanite® castings and features a heavy-duty hardened and ground 10" x 50" table. It incorporates chrome lead screws on both the X and Y axes, with Turcite B for enhanced movement and a satin chrome finish on the dials. The precision bored and honed milling head, equipped with a large diameter chromed quill and high precision Class 7 spindle bearings, ensures quality cuts. The spindle head is internally cooled, and power connections use a no fuse breaker for safety. This model boasts a heavy-duty motor drive with a chrome plated motor shaft supported by bearings, a one-piece quill pinion and shaft, and a three-stage power downfeed with automatic stop for ease of use. Additional features include a heavy-duty spindle brake, double locks on all movable surfaces, hardened and ground square vertical knee ways and cross ways, adjustable gibs throughout, and an internal coolant tank built into the base (coolant pump not included). The kit also includes a tolerance test sheet, a one-shot lubrication system, way covers, a draw bar, and a toolbox with tools.
