The JET JTM-1050 is engineered with Meehanite® castings and features a heavy-duty hardened and ground 10" x 50" table, supported by high precision Class 7 precision bearings for the spindle. It incorporates precision bored and honed milling heads to ensure quality cuts, while its three-stage power downfeed with automatic stop increases usability. The kit includes chrome lead screws on the X and Y axes, Turcite B coatings on the same axes, and satin chrome finishes on dials for enhanced precision. Additionally, it boasts a large diameter chromed quill, an internally cooled spindle head, no fuse breaker power connections, a heavy-duty motor drive, and a chrome plated motor shaft with bearing support at the end. The JET JTM-1050 further features a one-piece quill pinion and shaft, heavy-duty spindle brake, double locks on all movable surfaces, hardened and ground square vertical knee ways and cross ways, adjustable gibs throughout, an internal coolant tank built into the base for use with a coolant system (coolant pump not included), a tolerance test sheet, a one-shot lubrication system, way covers, a draw bar, and a toolbox with tools.
