Constructed using the Meehanite® casting process, Jet variable speed milling machines provide consistent and reliable operation with a precision bored and honed milling head that ensures quality cuts. This series features a large diameter chromed quill, high precision class 7 spindle bearings, and a chrome plated motor shaft with lower bearing support. The spindle head is internally cooled and equipped with a heavy-duty splined motor drive. The Jet JTM-4VS series mills include a one-piece quill pinion and shaft, a three-stage power downfeed with automatic stop, and a heavy-duty spindle brake. Additionally, these machines have locks on all movable surfaces and feature precision hardened and ground ways and table, with adjustable gibs throughout for enhanced performance. An internal coolant tank built into the casting base is provided for use with a coolant system, although the coolant pump is not included. The package also includes a tolerance test sheet, a one-shot lubrication system, way covers, a draw bar, and a toolbox with tools. The Jet JTM-4VS series mills are available in both single and three-phase power configurations and are backed by a two-year full service and parts warranty.
