The Jet JTM-1050 is a high-quality milling machine featuring Meehanite® castings, a robust hardened and ground 10" x 50" table, and high precision Class 7 precision bearings that support the spindle. It includes precision bored and honed milling heads for superior quality cuts, along with a three-stage power downfeed with an automatic stop for ease of use. Key attributes include chrome lead screws on the X and Y axes, Turcite B for reduced friction, satin chrome finish dials, a large diameter chromed quill, and an internally cooled spindle head. The machine is equipped with no-fuse breaker power connections, a heavy-duty motor drive, a chrome-plated motor shaft with bearing support, a one-piece quill pinion and shaft, and a heavy-duty spindle brake. Additionally, it features double locks on all movable surfaces, hardened and ground square vertical knee ways and cross ways, adjustable gibs throughout, an internal coolant tank built into the base for use with a coolant system (coolant pump not included), and a tolerance test sheet.
