The kit is designed for field service technicians working on static-sensitive devices and includes a static dissipative surface, ground cord, wrist cord, wrist strap, and alligator clip. It serves a dual purpose as a Faraday cage for transporting circuit boards and static-sensitive components. Key features include conformance to ESD 20.20-2007 and EU standards, NIST traceability, and a static dissipative blue 24" x 24" fabric reinforced PVC surface that is flame retardant, easy to clean, and antimicrobial. The kit also features two pockets and a Velcro® brand closure, along with the patented Ohm-Stat™ WS-1020 wrist strap with coiled cord and alligator clip, the Ohm-Stat™ stackable GC-7020 ground cord with banana plug, and the Ohm-Stat™ SP-101 for safely testing earth ground.
