Cast iron worm gear reducers are available in center distances of 1.33 to 3.25 inches and ratios ranging from 5:1 to 60:1. The units are constructed with a one-piece #FC20 all cast iron housing and feature NEMA motor quill style input flanges or shaft inputs. They come pre-filled with synthetic oil and include a 1-year warranty. Key features of these reducers include tapered roller bearings on both the input and output shafts, embedded double-lip oil seals, an anti-rust primer applied both inside and outside the gearbox, and a special air-dried black paint finish.
