The cylinders should not be overfilled; the maximum fill level is 80% of the cylinder's rated capacity. It is essential to avoid mixing different refrigerants in a single cylinder, as mixtures cannot be separated. Safety precautions include wearing rubber gloves and safety goggles when transferring refrigerant. Only use cylinders that are approved for recovery, with the cylinder for R410A being required to meet DOT spec 4BA400. The NC30, NC30U, NC50, and NC50U models are specifically approved for use with R410A refrigerant.
