The Standard Refrigerant Recovery Cylinder is designed to meet ARI guidelines and DOT specifications, ensuring compliance and safety during refrigerant recovery. The cylinder must not be overfilled to more than 80% of its rated capacity and should never contain mixed refrigerants, as mixtures cannot be separated. It is essential to wear rubber gloves and safety goggles while transferring refrigerant and to use only cylinders that are approved for recovery purposes. For R410A applications, a cylinder must meet DOT specification 4BA400, and models NC30, NC30U, NC50, and NC50U are specifically approved for this refrigerant type.
