The 6 in. Stainless Steel Flanged Full Port Ball Valve is a 2-piece construction designed to handle pressures up to 300 psi and measures 15-1/2 in. in length. This ball valve utilizes a spherical disc to control flow between pipes, tubes, or hoses, allowing flow when the hole in the ball is aligned with the inlet and outlet of the valve, and blocking flow when the ball is swiveled 90 degrees. It is classified as a full port due to the hole in the ball being the same size as the inner diameter of the connecting pipeline, which results in lower friction. Equipped with a manual handle or lever that indicates the position of the valve (open or closed), this product is suitable for various applications including air, gas, liquid, and steam.
