The 2 in. stainless steel flanged ball valve with a bracket mount is designed to operate at a pressure rating of 300 psi. This type of valve utilizes a spherical disc to manage the flow between pipes, tubes, or hoses, allowing for flow when the hole in the ball-shaped disc is aligned with the valve's inlet and outlet, while blocking flow when the ball is rotated 90 degrees to make the hole perpendicular to the valve opening. This valve can be categorized as either a full port or reduced port, with the former having a ball hole that matches the inner diameter of the connecting pipeline, resulting in lower friction, and the latter having a hole one pipe size smaller, which leads to reduced flow through the valve compared to the pipe's shaft.
