Brass nipples are manufactured from seamless red brass pipe, alloy 230, providing superior machinability, reduced brittleness, and enhanced corrosion resistance compared to yellow brass, effectively preventing dezincification. They demonstrate excellent corrosion resistance to water and heat, while also resisting the detrimental effects of salt water, acids, minerals, and peaty soils found in water.
