The Import 1/2 in. lead free brass cap features a Female National Pipe Thread (FNPT) design and is rated for a pressure of 125 PSI. Designed primarily for water use in commercial plumbing and OEM applications, this brass fitting is also applicable in oil, gas, and steam environments. Red brass fittings can be applied in low pressure scenarios for water, oil, and gas (W.O.G.), with pressure ratings of 125 PSI for steam applications and 200 PSI for W.O.G. This product complies with ANSI B 1.20.1 and ANSI B 16.15 standards, providing superior corrosion resistance compared to yellow brass. The material's relative softness facilitates easy installation and ensures a tight seal.
