The lead-free brass coupling features a Female National Pipe Thread (FNPT) design with a pressure rating of 125 PSI, suitable for import applications of 1-1/4 inches. These brass fittings are primarily utilized for water in commercial plumbing and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) applications, while also being applicable in oil, gas, and steam systems. Red brass fittings are suitable for low pressure applications involving water, oil, and gas (W.O.G.), with pressure ratings of 125 PSI for steam and 200 PSI for W.O.G. Additionally, they comply with ANSI B 1.20.1 and ANSI B 16.15 standards. The fittings provide superior corrosion resistance compared to yellow brass, and the relative softness of the material facilitates easy installation and ensures a tight seal.
