The Import 3/4 in. lead free brass coupling features a female national pipe thread (FNPT) design and is rated for 125 PSI. This coupling is primarily utilized in commercial plumbing and OEM applications for water, but can also be employed in oil, gas, and steam applications. The red brass fittings are suitable for low pressure applications with water, oil, and gas (W.O.G.), and they have pressure ratings of 125 PSI for steam and 200 PSI for W.O.G. These fittings comply with ANSI B 1.20.1 and ANSI B 16.15 standards, providing superior corrosion resistance compared to yellow brass. The material's relative softness facilitates easy installation and ensures a tight seal.
