The brass nipples are manufactured from seamless red brass pipe, specifically alloy 230, which provides superior machinability and durability compared to yellow brass, making them less brittle and much more resistant to corrosion, including dezincification. These nipples exhibit excellent corrosion resistance against water, heat, salt water, acids, minerals, and peaty soils present in water. They are predominantly utilized in commercial plumbing and OEM applications for water conveyance, but are also suitable for use in oil, gas, and steam applications.
